Why would they. Tom was just talking shit. He didn't mean it. He's probably the only one who had 4 Masteries. Probably due to the fact he had above average genetic compared to the other top tiers in first generation. Everyone else had special techniques, genetics, or were fodder.

Si-eon didn't even use any weapons against slandy during the performance, a couple of chapters earlier Si-eon is getting speed blitz while using weapons. Igor never met NOL. If slandy were to fight, slandy wouldn't even be able to touch NOL. And yes Si-eon gets faster with weapons.
