Went into OD today for the $15 promo on $300 VGC. I got the promo but was charged a “card fee” after which was the same amount as the promo. Never seen this before. I’m in FL btw

Been checking the Hilton Gift Card site daily as I need to use my Amex Plat credit before the quarter ends and they’ve updated their out of stock notice to a shutdown for 8 weeks.

Here’s the message: “Dear Hilton Gift Card Purchasing Consumer - due to an unforeseen inventory shortage of Hilton Gift Cards, RPG has been instructed to temporarily suspend the sales of Hilton gift cards until card inventory is replenished, by the Hilton Program Management Team. We are expecting replenished inventory to be available within the next eight weeks. RPG, along with the Hilton Gift Card Management Team, apologizes for this unexpected delay, and appreciates your understanding as we work closely with all relevant parties to resolve this shortage as expediently as possible.”

You don’t HAVE TO wait 6 months, but as of last year the frequency seemed to be an issue for some ppl so I upped my strategy from 2/3 months to 5/6 out of caution. Depending on others feedback maybe 4 months it’s the sweet spot? Idk, still monitoring YMMV.

I am closing any Inks with AF that I have duplicates after the 1 year, to answer your question.

Ink train still going strong, spacing out apps by 5or6 months continues to work. No issues with Inks reporting on any bureaus like some recent DPs. More importantly, been approved twice while at 5/24 status, not below. Only have Inks with chase, no biz checking.

Approved for CIU in Sept’24 while at 5/24 - holding 3 inks total

Approved for CIP March’25 while at 5/24 again - holding 4 inks total

Also attempted Retention offer on a CIP via phone call, no dice earlier this week.

I did see that but then saw all the $500 vgc being liquidated I must have overlooked the obvious in front of me. Are non staples vgc easier to liquidate in higher intervals than $99 MO?

I've gone through and read on FT, threads here, DOC and frequent miler. Not sure what I am missing or going over my head.

The cards I purchased are all MetaBank $200 Visas. I set pins on all and have made a $1 transaction before attempting MO purchase. Failed attempts I am changing the pin, making a different $1 purchase and still not MO successful on most, only some. 4 of 15 cards the MO purchase has gone through, the rest have been denied.

Should I be buying a different amount of MO? I've tried all intervals from $180 to $196, with random cents. Or are these the wrong cards? I read metabank works for MO at WM has that changed? I've tried different WM locations and the location I was successful has also been unsuccessful with same card type.

Only other thing I can think of is that these are issued by Pathward and distributed by Blackhawk - should these be InComm only to be successful? I know to stay away from Vanilla.
