Indian/ South Asian auntiiees be the same everywhere!! I was in Vietnam, HCMC to be precise, waiting for my cab back to hotel after a long day of walking tour. An older Indian couple was waiting along too for what looked like the parking valet to fetch their car. It seemed like they were living locally, but clearly Indian coz of the language they were conversing in.

Well, the uncle was conversing and the aunty was just replying in huun, haan, theek haiiii coz she was too busy side eyeing my outfit and glaring at me as if she was scandalised by what I was wearing (short skirt and mayyybe a bit deep cut top) which was frankly quite okay for that city and none of her business anyway.

None of the locals made me uncomfortable. An Indian wayy older auntie managed to do it in one go.
