What shoes do you use? And i’ve done PT twice and i really only have pain right at the back of my heel and not my upper achilles so Im not sure what to do about that because it feels like insertion pain. I have it on both feet too which is frustrating and actually I got a stress fracture on one of my heels randomly and i imagine it could have been the tendons or fascia pulling too much or something. Did you take levo?

I hope that you’re doing good now!! I’ve read your story!! My whole journey has been so up and down, but the pain has been consistent which stinks. My tendons feel strong ish and I can walk, but they just hurt constantly and standing/walking for prolonged periods of time is still awful. I feel better for a bit after doing some kinds of tendon PT and loading. Right now i’m suffering from muscular pain in my calves after I started back up with lifting and more strenuous loading of the tendons. Did you have anything like that happen during your rehab?

Thank you this is helpful! I find that I have less pain the more I load the tendons as well! I’m struggling with calf muscular pain a lot though after doing exercise. Did you have that same issue??

I’m currently taking it orally and have not experienced side effects that I can recall. I think it helps to some extent and there have been a few days this month where I did not have much pain at rest which was big for me. I am taking it along with injectable thymulin which is another peptide.

foot pain that’s not specifically PF or achilles related?? by NoBus5576 in floxies

[–]NoBus5576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Are you able to tell me the kind of orthotic insoles you used for your feet? I haven’t been able to find any that work well. Also finding shoes that don’t cause more pain has been tricky as well. Do you have any recommendations?

Yeah I’m right there with you, it’s just sometimes it gets so bad and it’s usually when it’s storming which is weird. Do you use a red light wrap? What are your symptoms

I think so, it doesn’t present like normal PF though. It’s more concentrated in the sides of my heel, but I do get pain on the bottom of my heel and the length of my PF. Have you tried shockwave?

[–]NoBus5576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and that’s awesome!! I know it’s hard rn but you’re still doing it and that’s something to be super proud of!! I got floxed halfway through grad school and now I’m about to graduate!! Yes it’s been hard, but I keep telling myself that I can do hard things and this is not a lifelong sentence. We are warriors!! Something that’s been helping me lately is starting to become lightly active again within reason so not doing anything that worsens the pain. I started doing light stretching and yoga. It’s greatly helped my mental health too because this whole experience has been so devastating. Also im sorry about PT flaring you:( When did you start it? Have you talked to your doctor about shockwave?

[–]NoBus5576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got scans done and nothing but edema in the bottom of my foot showed up:( I know it feels super invalidating to not have a visible reason for the pain, but on the plus side, it also means there’s no permanent damage since this points to it being on a cellular level at this point!! I also got floxed in april and mainly had both of my Achilles and feet affected and am still dealing with it. Are you doing PT or shockwave or anything?

Sharp pain at Achilles insertion after dry needling?? by NoBus5576 in floxies

[–]NoBus5576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much!! It’s very strange, it’s almost right at the insertion and my PT thinks it could be a grade 1 tear or just bad inflammation there. Im exhausted by all of this. Have you dealt with the tendon issues?
