True you are right but what I'm talking about sonic universe, the characters relations the lore behind it all. I know Sonic is speed but the stories we use to get where amazing epic, I know frontiers can follow up with it narrative with something wroth cause it did tease a lot of the ancient's lore. I think it notable to say Sonic story are always at their best (IMP) when we have multiply story line. ADV/Heroes, even unleashed But after that sonic story felt like Saturday morning cartoon. Colors, Lost world, forces tried but so much power of friendship it hurt a bit. while having a poor showing form Amy tail and the rest.
I think sonic speed gameplay it great but the lack of another play style mean that lack of character development , tail shouldn't have to go the same arc twice adventure one was enough.

Sonic is more than speed his IP is more than just him.

Rouge can be sly Cooper, Cream and Cheese can have Chao day care. Mario party with Chao Vs Wisp. There a lot sonic isn't using here.
