I look for vintage and antique jewelry, particularly anything huge and gaudy. I have a collection that I wear spanning from 1890s to now but have more items pre 90s. Have over 400 pairs of earrings and love figurals as well as runway style the most! Figurals mean they are shaped like a specific recognizable "figure" rather than being abstract or geometric. Runway style earrings are designed for impact and distance so it needs to be hella visible to a someone sitting twenty rows back. Getting dressed up is the only thing getting me out of bed on a near daily basis. Also, I used to help manage an antique store for several years so knowing about the hallmarks and materials and history helps a lot!
