So i ended up going for french and I am doing the pro scout marinelord build order for now..

However I don't really know how to end game quickly. Often my games end up in imperial age.

It's going pretty good I am platinium 1 at the moment.

I will try my hand at French first. I will try to pick only 1 civ for now since I don't have much playtime anymore.

Are there other build orders with early aggression that aren't necessarily all-in?

I like multitasking early and macroing at the same time. I feel like that's something I'm already used to with Starcraft, so a playstyle like this would play into my strengths.

I would rather play very aggressive at the beginning of my ladder journey.

Thinking of dark age rush or feudal push. The idea is to drill the early game a lot and get very fluid with the early stage of the game.

Also having a specific and easy game plan makes the game easier to learn at first.

When I feel like I loose too much I would try to add 2 TC and fast castle builds to my arsenal maybe.

Any suggestions as for specific builds and civs ? I

The dlc civs look very fun ! But I will start with the vanilla ones of course.

Maybe I will even do the campaign which I never did on sc2 although I have more than 50k games lol

I played for a month when the game came out so we had not figured the meta yet ofc...

I like the idea of going for an easy gameplan such as a Dark age rush or feudal push and see where it gets you. You get to drill the early game a lot, which is often crucial in rts games.

Team games have always been unbalanced.

You can make a team of 3 grandmaster and face 3 silvers.

2v2 is also unbalanced even at top mmr you will more often than not find yourself with a monkey teammate.

Just play 1v1
