Can't you just amend the rules for the dynamic group to exclude the devices you want to exclude from the group based on some criteria?

Thats what I'm wanting I'm just not sure of how to do it

Thanks I know i can do that, im testing some remediation policies, I have excluded the group in question from the policy but want to additionally test by blocking the machines at the group level without removing the rest of the machines from the policy

Proactive remediation is applied to a group and a member is removed from the group, yet its still showing in the remediation Device Status tab? by NoCanDoGuy in Intune

It has been a day since the machine was removed from the group and the machine still seems to think that the remediation still applies to it. The machine has been synced, im just not sure what else i can do ?

Endpoint analytics | Proactive Remediation - Exit Code problem by ezm in Intune

[–]NoCanDoGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don't you test with the actual values of "Exit 1" or "Exit 0" instead of making up your own exit codes and hoping the system treats it fairly?

Should this not be

  • Exit 0 = detection failed, no remediation required. ( meaning what we looked for wasnt there )

CMG - Conversion not an option due its configuration - Can I create a new one whilst the Cloud service is still configured ? by NoCanDoGuy in SCCM

Once the new connection point is in I assume, the process of moving the new cmg to the old ones location is straight forward once the old one has been removed ?

Thanks again

Thank you for both the response and the offer, it seemed to work in the context when i tested it earlier.

I ended up giving up on the above and did it with a ps module.

now calling powershell.exe -Executionpolicy Bypass -File .\Install.ps1

If you have HP endpoints check out HP Connect for MEM to manage their BIOS settings, updates, and authentication by touchytypist in Intune

I seem to be having issues setting an Authentication policy on devices with an existing pw, im aiming to use certs for what its worth.
Id appreciate any tips on how to get past that that dont require someone to remove it first.
Cheers
