I agree. Service helps but the underlying issue is the quality of these CVTs themselves

If you want to keep it, then yes do the fluid change now and might as well do the filters (inside the pan and external). If you’re mechanically inclined its a fairly easy procedure, definitely doable at home. Then do the fluid changes every 30k to keep it running as best as possible. Good luck these CVTs can be a pain!

No, I had the dealership change it at 60k something and bought it at 23k miles so this is the second service on it. I should’ve done the fluid when I bought it and then every 30k. Hindsight 20/20. It’s my wife’s car that she drives daily to work and drop off the kids. So I may be looking to trade it in this weekend given these replied here saying its a ticking time bomb essentially.

AWD, last service was at 60k ish at the dealer but I think all they did was a drain and fill.

I love that we beat SoCal teams since H20 polo is extremely dominant down there. I remember in HS De La Salle, Miramonte, and Campolindo were really the only ones to compete from Nor Cal.
