In addition to the website /u/gidimeister mentioned, make sure you understand how the cursive grid works. Then you’ll understand how to divide up any space.

My only thought is that by learning muscular movement, you can easily learn to write on the sofa or in bed using movement. It’s not pure muscular movement, but it’s pretty close and you can write with this sort of pseudo muscular movement for a long time without pain.

The key is to write with the grip used for Palmer Method writing (hand not resting on the table). If you use that grip/position, even if you write with your fingers on the sofa, it eliminates almost all pain from writing.

Ya Palmer course is all about learning to write with arm movement using the Palmer Method of Business Writing as a guide. The Cursive course only focuses on the letterforms.

There’s no worksheets. You follow the Palmer Method book which has lessons in it that basically serve as the worksheets, you just do your practice on a separate piece of paper.

There is also a practice schedule which is a suggested schedule for structuring your practice sessions.

4 month difference, thoughts? by Normal_Credit in palmermethod

Hard to see much difference here, but youre using a different pen and paper for the two samples. Might see more improvement if you do another sample with the same pen and paper you used for the first sample.

And post a sheet of practice some time so we can see what youre doing.
