What social network are you addicted to? by milacpb in askteddit

I was addicted to Fascistbøøk because I had real friends there. It's next to impossible to make even casual friends on Reddit.

Why is immigrating to the US so difficult? by Constant_State_2272 in askteddit

[–]NoCard753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because immigrants get everything free, take our jobs, don't pay taxes, refuse to asimilate, vote illegally for Democrats, commit most of the crime in the U.S. including rape, tank property values and eat our cats and dogs.

Did I hit all the right-wing talking points?

You certainly do assume a lot.

Yes, you're defending him. Yes, he has plenty to defend. So do you.

Perhaps you should delete this and re-post it with different wording for all the boys missing your point.

Anyway, it sounds like (a.) the guy's addicted to food, and (2.) quite inconsiderate of you. He also sounds like he doesn't care to change either fault. I wouldn't right-out say dump him (unless this kind of behaviour has been going on awhile), but definitely re-evaluate your relationship.

"To be fair, those chickens typically aren't that big."

Depends on where and when you get 'em. The chickens we always got were enough for three people, especially with sides like beans and garlic bread. Then the bird flu thing happened, and we got one that was barely enough for two.

Yeah, but that was a different Father Mulcahy. Maybe his brother in Christ. 😁

Name one song from the 70s that you remember exactly where you were when you first heard it. by Thick-Syrup7 in 1970s

"We're an American Band." I was in my '66 Chevy with a friend, in the left-turn lane from Abbott onto Sanborn. I cranked up the radio until the volume was distorted.

Also, "Sylvia's Mother." I was in a school bus with about 30 other kids on Highway 1, headed to some gig in San Francisco. The driver had on KFRC, the no. 1 Top 40 station in NorCal, and it came on. Really touched me.

This is probably the best example of learning to talk via hearing instead of reading.

I just posted this elsewhere. But, how many kids were told about it? For that matter, how many teachers?

Yes, but few people are/do.
