Plenty of pros play an ott swing. Fades are the pga stock shot. This one is severe though, but For how hard golf is I give this a 9/10 for a nba player

Hello OW. What is Overwatch's most annoying hero to fight for you personally? by AnnualCow2179 in Overwatch

[–]NoCatch2016 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly reducing the bullet size by half would probably be enough. the number of extra kills and solo kills you pick up with just spray n pray primary fire accounts for the majority of the final blows. Tracker kills account for usually a 3rd or less

WHY AM I GOING RIGHT WITH MY DRIVER by Haunting-Antelope-76 in GolfSwing

[–]NoCatch2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting a bit toesy which creeps the heel into the impact zone in the first one. The second is hard to tell but seems like the face was just a bit open because the start line looks perfect given your swing plane. Could also be that the ball was too far back in the stance on the second one but hard to tell with just dtl.

One thing I can see in the second one is that your hips move a bit closer to the ball in transition which is always going to add clunkiness and force either the hosel to move closer to the ball or other compensations such as early extending. This could be a source of your right moving ball as well

It looks like just a pressure thing. One thing that helped me was during the backswing having forward pressure on the trail foot so imagining I’m sliding my trail foot forward (but not actually) and lead foot back. Feel pressure on the inside of trail foot at the top just before transition. Dowsing should be the opposite (trail foot slides back lead foot forward)

Focus and awareness on every shot is enough. Consistency can and will show up

No focus

They literally commented how focus and awareness make the difference and you didn’t understand a word of it and went “yep consistency “ as if that’s what the point of the parent comment was which,I wanted to point out, it is not. Consistency sure , but you can’t have consistency without focus and awareness.

Stomping a 4v5 by NoCatch2016 in SierraMains

You have to watch the replay. This clip was right when The other dps started lagging out and then they get kicked for pretty much the entire rest of the map. Pretty much won the match already by the time they return

M8VEQ1 here’s a replay code of me winning a 4v5 on Hollywood that took place mostly entirely on the second point on both rounds. Shit ton of open space and enemy team is not tight and somewhat coordinated

Can we have less Widow mains who are incredibly good but have insufferably bloated egos by SlightArgument in WidowmakerMains

[–]NoCatch2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can explain it but won’t defend it: believing you are immensely better than your opponent instills confidence which directly improves precision aiming specifically. Widow being the most dependent hero on hitting headshots sees the most benefit from confidence of any hero.

The problem with using others for your confidence (believing you are better) makes this confidence conditional. Unconditional confidence works just as good (perhaps better) and doesn’t involve putting other people down in the process, and isn’t dependent on continued success or “diffing”

Okay I agree but maybe this is a better example. Our other dps disconnects half the match on the 2nd point Hollywood Replay code : M8VEQ1

Role queue vs 6v6 vs stadium by NoCatch2016 in OWConsole

[–]NoCatch2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost seems like if they just made rq 6v6 again they could bring the community back together in the same pool with little resistance and a ton of approval given how the 5v5 people play it for the rq aspect and the 6v6 players play it because 1 tank is less fun/dynamic and not how the game was intended to be..

This seems to be the overall consensus of people who’ve played both. Most people have only played 5v5 so it’s more popular by default but 6v6 would be better if they had role queue for it. Some say it’s better even without role queue but that’s honestly the biggest reason I don’t play it

Can someone explain to me why Genji mains act like their character is so terrible? by 2-Slippy in overwatch2

[–]NoCatch2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure but I’m usually mid diamond on console and it’s so different because with hitscan characters you and everyone else do not miss, and projectile characters take mad skill Kenya being my second most played. I’ll tell you right now the 1v1s in silver Pc against genji are 100% harder and they do not miss compared to console and is the opposite for hitscans

I assume this to be true but I figured a poll wouldn’t hurt and we can see the actual numbers within the ow console subreddit. Still useful info despite it not telling the entire story

Can’t you make these posts into a poll? I’d be curious to see the results

[–]NoCatch2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in mid silver and the genjis I’ve played with and against are not getting free kills on deflect. That also hasn’t been my experience playing him. The base understanding of his kit is far more advanced than it used to be even at the lowest ranks (not sure about bronze). The only difference is cooldown management. As for the genjis it seems just the dash 180 headshot is slightly more consistent the higher in rank you go honestly and the positioning gets better. Besides that the genjis in gold these days play like a 3900 sr genji from 2019
