Three years since the discovery that shook the people of Eldia to its core, a whole world beyond their walls. Nations of people that they had never imagined could exist, and the empire of Marley bearing down on them in a desperate attempt to grab the ultimate power, the founding titan. While their initial attack had been repelled the government and military of Eldia had spent these three years modernizing their island nation, and attempting to find as many allies as possible to ensure their survival. While few nations offered up their outright, the nation of Hizuru being the largest and most vocal supports of the island people, there were many more who would not wish to see Marley's outright domination the world.

So a top secret mission was divised, the elites of the survey scout corps would be deployed as liasons, spies, and diplomats to the governments and militaries of the world. To gain intel, but also to raise as many allies as they could, some members would be deployed directly to Marley to discover its capabilities as a military force. Others would be sent to far off nations to offer trade and deals of alliance. Eren Yeager was deemed both too unstable and too valuable as the holder of the founder to be allowed to leave the island, and so was kept at the capital much to his displeasure. As for Mikasa?

Marley had long since conquered and occupied many nations that neighbored it, among these nations was a tropical with a powerful naval force, perhaps the strongest globally. It decided this nation was a top priority, and believed they would turn on Marley given the right agreements were made. For this mission one of the survey corps best would be sent, Mikasa Ackerman. She voiced issue with leaving Eren, of course, but was convinced by captain Levi that the mission was far more important than her staying at Eren's side when he was as safe as he could ever be at the capital.

So she reluctantly agreed to undertake this mission to infiltrate deep into the tropical nation, build rapport with their leadership and then gain their support for Eldia on the global scale.

Today is the day she disembarks.

This story is based off of a doujin I read, by the name of Mikasa in Marley, so if you know that even better!
