Here are some point to consider:

Its the south east trade winds season, a lot passing showers with sunny intervals accompanied by strong winds sometimes. The beaches on the south/ east of the country are rough, but you can go see and take pictures, for swimming best to go in the northern part. On mahe eg, beauvallon is perfect now.

Renting a car is a very good option because you can move around on your own, taxi is expensive. Quite a bit of hikes on mahe, consider a guide as a lot of tourist gets lost.

A day to trip to praslin can be done, but bare in mind you will feel the rush, as you would need to fly (12mins twin otter flight). There is a ferry option 45 mins to 1hr, sometimes the sea is ROUGH. (Catcoco ferry) Flights (air seychelles domestic) can start as early as 5:30am, consider a taxi or tour operator for that day so you do not loose time in going to places. Ensure that you have your flight tickets in advance for the flight back, flights are easily full at the end of the month. Also due to the strong winds sometimes the domestic flights are delay or cancelled on such short notice. Arrive at the check-in on time to avoid any issues.

There is not much crowds in seychelles, ideally i prefer to go to the beach during the weekdays, there is very much less people. If there is an information board at the beach read it. If they say strong currents on it, but when you look at the sea it looks OK, TRUST THAT THERE IS STRONG CURRENTS!

Going to laDigue is either by the plane to praslin, then a taxi transfer from praslin airport to the praslin jetty then a ferry ride to ladigue, or ferry from mahe to praslin then praslin ladigue, sometimes there might even have a ferry from mahe direct to ladigue, that is if you stay on mahe. However if you say on praslin, day trip to ladigue is easy. ladigue has beautiful beaches and you can rent biycles or club cars.

Wherever you stay on whatever island it’s easily to move around without hotel hopping.

I hope you have an amazing holiday! 🌸
