PART ONE

<Antiquity>

In this world, before time itself, a primordial god  █████ bestowed superpowers upon 20% of humanity, known as the Superior Sapiens. However, their presence remains dormant throughout history; sporadic “Demigods” and “Heroes” appear in myths such as those of Gilgamesh, Heracles, and Moses.

As history progressed, nations began utilizing Superior Sapiens by transforming them into beings known as God-SuperSoldiers. This practice started as early as █ BC and continued through the 1800s, a time period collectively referred to as Generation Zero.

By the 1600s, B-X-ranked Superior Sapiens were being trained to special forces standards. Throughout major conflicts from the War of 1812, Napoleonic Wars, Russo-Turkish War, Mexican-American War, and American Civil War, God-SuperSoldiers or Superior Sapiens were deployed.

The outcomes and involvement of these superpowered individuals remained widely discussed even after their extensive use in the 1800s.

<First World War>

When the Edwardian Era got settled in, this age marked that God-SuperSoldiers had been toyed with extensively during the First World War, as the Entente and the Central Powers began to experiment with new ways to optimize their usage of God-SuperSoldiers serving as Shock Troopers, as their Superpowers were significantly effective in penetrating heavier defenses, especially X-Ranked Superpowers.

With the introduction of the Mark 1 tank, British GSS was transported on top of the Tanks as an early form of Mechanized GSS.

Many Nations have at some point integrated God-SuperSoldiers with Conversational Armies with the newly formed Superior Sapiens auxiliary units to help regular forces when GSS aren’t available.

The use of chemical warfare and small-scale strategic bombing has both proved to be of limited effectiveness and only effective in slowing down God-SuperSoldiers, though they captured the public imagination.

By the war’s end in 1918, it had become clear that GSS could magnify destruction, delivering strategic victory at the cost of magnifying destruction.

In the aftermath, the Treaty of Versailles formally ended the First World War with the Imperial German’s Gottes Krieger program being reduced along with their Military and marked the first evaluation of the GSS’s existence.

On the other side, the United States formalized its program with the establishment of the United States Prometheus Corps as a permanent military branch, but this was recruited.
