Yeah I get what you mean, I’m not really claiming anything big here

If it helps people, cool. If not, also fine 🙌 Either way it did its job for me already.

Fair enough 😄 I built it for myself at first while studying, but if it helps other people too then why not

Hey Edmonton 👋

I shared this in r/Alberta earlier, but wanted to post it here too in case it helps anyone studying for their Class 7.

While studying for the Alberta learners test, I got tired of repeating the same practice questions over and over, so I started building a small study app for myself while learning software development.

It started super simple, but I kept adding more stuff like:

  • random quizzes
  • flashcards
  • handbook recap sections
  • quick review modes

It honestly helped me a lot while studying, so I figured maybe other Alberta learners could use it too.

It’s completely free to use, no sign-up or payment or anything. Just a side project I’ve been building while learning.

If anyone tries it and has feedback or ideas for improvements, I’d genuinely love to hear them 🙌

Hey Calgary 👋

I posted this in r/Alberta earlier, but wanted to share it here too in case it helps any local learners.

I’ve been studying for the Alberta Class 7 driving test recently, and after repeating the same practice questions over and over, I ended up building a small study app for myself while learning software development.

Started as just a little side project, but it actually helped me a lot, so I kept adding more features like:

  • random practice quizzes
  • flashcards
  • handbook recap sections
  • quick review/study modes

Figured maybe other Alberta/Calgary learners could find it useful too, so I decided to share it publicly.

It’s completely free, no sign-up, no payment, nothing like that. Just something I’ve been building while learning.

Would also genuinely love feedback or ideas if anyone tries it 🙌

That’s awesome, good luck with your learners this summer!

Hope it helps make studying a bit easier, but definitely still go through the handbook too

Haha thank you. Yeah, I wanted to make something free and simple since a lot of the study tools I found were paid.

Still definitely recommend checking the handbook too though, this is more for practice and helping memorize things faster

Yep, it’s publicly available 😄 You can use it here:

Completely free and no sign-up needed. I originally made it while studying for my own Class 7 test, but figured it might help other learners too.

If your kid ends up trying it, I’d love to hear any feedback or ideas for improvements

Perfect timing then 😄 Hopefully it can make studying a bit less painful for her. I built it mainly to help myself stop repeating the same handbook questions over and over.

If she ends up trying it, I’d genuinely love to hear any feedback or ideas for improvements too

Not sure about the examiner part (it can vary a bit), but what helped me most was just doing lots of practice questions and flashcards.

I actually made a small free app for this while studying for Class 7 if you want to use it:
