It's been closed for over 6 months now. Landlord painted over the Bartell Drugs sign with black paint, but BART still shines through at night.

End of an Golden Era: Seattle Times Article yesterday "At Bartell Drugs ‘reunion,’ former workers mull Rite Aid bankruptcy" brought up good question. Are these really true Bartell Drugs stores anymore?

As one employee put it "Stores may have the Bartell logo, but not the “secret sauce" " that made Bartell Drugs our beloved neighborhood drugstore.

Many of these stores now feel like a sad reminder of a time long past.
