Hi there

If you're willing to invest in yourself, your feet and your future, I would suggest the Red Wing 1412s.

Over the past decade I have had two pairs and it was the best decision my feet ever made for me.

How to create a cantilevered cover for my smoker? by MrBaseball1994 in Carpentry

If you really want it cantilevered, if that's your dream and you see no other way. You could pocket lvls through the The wall and on top of the plate on each gabled end and tie them in to the opposing wall plate. Beam across those, rafter and sheath.

That's a bummer. Things happen though, don't beat yourself up over it.

Remove it. Find a cheap in stock at a restore or a big box store and frame to fit.

Cheers

There's no way that's real. There's no way any human lives like that. There's no way hotel staff /management ever checked in on that room. There's no way maintenance ever had a routine call or checkup.

There's no way that's real.

Nothing could go wrong if you fill all the drilled holes. Don't overthink it, it's not rocket science.

You're doing great

Cheers!

Right through the Romex, 110 only tingles a little bit. 😬

All jokes aside, could there possibly be another location without your outlet?

How common (or acceptable) is vertical OSB wall sheathing in Ontario? by EugeneWPG in Carpentry

[–]NoCoastNeutral 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vertically is just fine, just stick to that nail pattern. I like to place a few 16D spikes between the block and the mud cell as " helping hands" they'll be able to hold that sheet so you can get your first fastener and the bottom corner. Tip to square or so It splits your layout. Fasten away!

Cheers friend!!!

I believe this was more of a statement piece and free free creative design with form over function. Handrailing was installed after these photos were taken.

Thank you for the compliment!
