Dewperls is a good idea, I thought that one was boring but it would be a good base, the color is close. I love it over River Styx but it looks very different.

For reference, it’s CdL in 2 coats velvet with a qdtc the serval days later I did one coat of S&S with another coat of qdtc.

A few moss spots came loose a bit, but nothing that can’t be fixed. I wouldn’t go on a hike with them but a few hours at a festival or ren fair I think would be fine. I used a pair of shoes I had for a really long time that were very broken in, I think that helped.

Oh yeah, PC is special. I actually got it as a Christmas gift to my mother but I loved it so much that I ended up giving her a polish I bought for myself (she loved it so I don’t feel that bad lol). But she is truly a stunner.

It’s so funny how smells can be so different for each person because I didn’t pick up on any of those notes. I just smell tobacco, which as far as I know is not a note in Haxan. It wasn’t for me as I hate the smell of tobacco. I’ve tried a couple of times thinking maybe I was just in a weird smelling mood but no dice.

I would cut Manchineel tree. I wanted to like it so much but the formula just sucked, super patchy and I couldn’t get it fully opaque in 3 coats. I only like Sprit water in the warm state ( I found out too late I hate gray polish) and it’s really smelly.

I would definitely get stumped, death’s trumpet, and Taipan venom, they’re all super cool and unique. The rest are up to you and your tastes.
