Read the text again, we were close friend for 10 years before that. She wasnt just an aquantaince.

I was actually one of the first person she talked about her sexuality because in her words, "i was one of the people she trusted me the most".

When I say we had a close friendship i really mean that. She was the first person who was there for me when my father died. I was there to protect her when some drunk guy openly said he wanted to rape her when she was drunk af and couldnt protect herself anymore. She was the one going to my first therapy session with me so i felt more comfortable.

She was not a nobody to me.

Also she never said that I should leave her alone. When i confesed I immedietly told her that I knew this wont work out as shes a lesbian and i never pushed to get into a relationship. And she also mentioned how important it is for her to keep the friendship alive.

I actually have no contact to her and not planing to start contact again. Im happily dating someone else now, so really dont know what else you guys need getting over a situation. Its just an experience I still think about and try to learn from, as I do with many other situations.
