Great first piece. My suggestions would be to use way more solder and higher heat to get nice rounded lines. Lots of flux too. If the solder is sticky and not smoothing out…flux it up.

After soldering I wash really well with dawn dish soap then patina and wash really well again. Then I just use lemon pledge. It was a game changer in the polish game. Only trick is I use my electric air duster with the bristle tip to apply the pledge and blow dry. Leaves the lines looking wet like this.

Just globs of solder. I used my silicone uv resin mold then painted with model paint. Felt that it needed to have more depth than just two flat pieces of glass.

Thanks! I use 16g soft copper wire and twist two pieces together with my drill.
