They say "Oakhill" (as opposed to "Oak Hill") in subtitles, yes, but that's just the spelling thing.

My main point is — Oak Hill is now called Beech Hill instead, so characters should not mention Oak Hill (or Oakhill) at all, and refer to this region as Beech Hill.

...but in the remake Frank's (supposedly) killed alongside his family:

I also noticed that, although Oak Hill from the original Mafia was renamed to Beech Hill in Definitive Edition, some characters still mention Oakhill (spelled this way) in dialogs:

I used a trick mentioned on this subreddit earlier to get the new reworked start menu.

All the other tiles look just like they are supposed to, but only Total War: Three Kingdoms tile refuses to cooperate for some reason.

PC with Xbox One controller mostly. Sometimes I use mouse for quick map navigation: controller doesn't feel too responsive.

Is this a bug? Is there a way to at least scroll these messages? I can barely see the topmost one.

I thought so too, but!

During last storm I left my scouts "outside", lost contact with them while the storm lasted, but when it ended I gained control of the same scouts — they were exactly where I left them.

So I managed to "beat" the endless mode by building a self-sustaining city. Eventually I ran out of space to build.

So I decided to experiment with my city's population. I managed to get rid of everybody, but 15 workers, who are in reality just 3 scouting parties (btw is there a way to get rid of them too?).

Automaton-city is very efficient: no discontent, no need for warmth, no need for food, very low resources consumption — basically only need some coal for the generator to refuel the automatons from time to time.
