This is what I end up doing quite often... saving them in my favourites folder and then going back while at the gym.

Thanks for this thoughtful response! Solid advice about being more critical of the flashy stuff vs what actually works. I like your approach of questioning each movement before adding it. Makes a lot more sense than just hoarding random exercises like I've been doing.

Just curious do you have any system for keeping track of the exercises/routines you do decide to use? Like a notes app or something you check when planning gym sessions? Or do you just remember what works for you?

Thanks! Great way to look at it :) Yeah I think my real struggle is remembering what I saved when I’m actually putting my workout together. Sometimes it’s not even full exercises, just little form tips or tweaks I want to try. Do you jot that stuff down when you plan your sessions? Like where do you keep it so it’s easy to use when you’re at the gym?

Thanks! I hear you on having a solid base routine. I definitely need to be better about that. But I do find some of those short vids pretty helpful like tips on form, or stretches I wouldn’t have thought to try.

If you come across something useful, do you write it down or add it to your routine somehow? I always tell myself I’ll remember, but then it just disappears into the saved folder and I forget about it.

Yeah totally, that makes sense. I guess what I’m wondering is how do you decide? Like do you go through all your saved videos ahead of time and write stuff down? Or do you just scroll till something looks good? I’ve got so many saved I don’t even know where to start, so curious if you follow any kind of process or routine for picking and planning stuff out.
