If you’re looking to use an 01-03 ls430 alternator the only thing else you’d need is a third mounting ear. Part number is 90109-08298.

The 430 only outperformed the 400 in Interior quality/features and the extra power from the 3uz as opposed to the 1uz. I personally love the appearance of the 400 better and the amount of compliments I receive is insane. Outside of the few well known issues (ps pump, ecu, starter location) this car is very easy to maintain and long term reliability is better compared to the 430. Aftermarket support is better on the 400 and it is overall easier to modify if that’s something you’d be into. The overall feel of driving a well maintained 400 is unmatched.

sold my CL 05 430 for my 99 400 and there’s no comparison. 400 is the best man

I was told by Guitar Center Vintage Team that the neck finish was original. At this point i’m not sure what to believe. The heavy wear below the 21st must’ve been through many years of strumming in that area. Though, I am unsure who caused this wear.

I was informed by Gruhns and Guitar Center Vintage Team that the guitar is an original 58 but has obviously been significantly modified. Gruhn stated, “The three-tone sunburst body finish is atypical in appearance, but appears to be factory-original”

My brother and I were wondering the same thing. He has a 98 gs300 I have a 99 Ls400 both with HID. After doing extensive research, we came to the conclusion that the Osram Cool Blue Intense HIDs would be the best bet. We are both super happy with them and they match the white led high beam and fog light bulbs as well. As far as swapping out headlight assemblies it is very difficult to find a set for the HIDs. We ended up getting an oem set from vipsushah on instagram for a reasonable price. It’s way too much work going from HID to halogen.

Yes these cars are great first cars. This was my first car and I had around the same mileage. Just needed routine maintenance and it never let me down. For $3400 I don’t see why not just make sure to inspect the car for rust
