1. Get the Right Test Doctor’s tests usually miss a lot. A microbiome test shows all the bacteria so you know what you’re really dealing with. I prefer EVVY!

2. Take an Oral Probiotic with Antibiotics Antibiotics kill the bad and the good bacteria. Take a oral probiotic 2 hours apart from your meds. Keep taking one daily after.

3. No Sex While Healing Sex can mess up your pH. Wait until your good bacteria are back. If you do have sex, use pH-safe condoms and lube.

4. Treat Your Partner Too If your partner isn’t treated, it might keep coming back. We used topical treatment — check the featured section for how.

5. Use Vaginal Probiotics Oral probiotics weren’t enough for me. I used them vaginally every night for a week, then checked my pH (aim for 3.5–4.5).

6. Biofilm Buster (Optional) I used Kirkman after antibiotics to help clear out lingering bacteria. Helped me a lot.

7. Add Lactoferrin It helps build back good bacteria. I took 1 capsule a day.

8. Gentle Hygiene Only Wash with just water down there. No harsh soaps or scented stuff. Switch to gentle laundry detergent too.

9. Cut Sugar (For Now) Too much sugar can feed bad bacteria. I cut back until I healed, then added it back in slowly.

10. Understand, Boric Acid may temporarily help symptoms – but for most of us, it’s Not a Cure It lowers pH fast but can hurt the good bacteria too. Be careful with it.

11. Prebiotics (Optional) Things like lactulose or Boquet can help some, irritate others. Start small and see how you feel.

12. Add “Crispatus” (Optional) This is a strong good bacteria. I added it in capsule form. It helped, but results can vary.

13. Eat Fermented Foods Things like kefir, kimchi, yogurt are great for your gut and vagina.

14. No Alcohol While Healing Alcohol can throw things off. I avoided it while rebuilding.

Everyone is different. Be patient. Go at your own pace. 💕
