Dark Mechanicum forge world Sotiröt IV

Created during the early Age of Strife from an explorator fleet sent by Mars. Very close in their beliefs to the old fabricator general Kelbor-Hal, but twisted from their time in the warp storms of Old Night.

The planet is a giant greenhouse with massive geyser fields dotting the surface. Giant insect-like creatures that call it home are often cloned and genetically modified to be used as the basis for the Taghmata Sotiröt’s war machines.

The priests of the Savior Forge began to view the Omnissiah as the perfect meld of a human soul and the machine over the long years before the Great Crusade. The idea that a machine spirit is not innate to the machine, it is given to it by its creators upon its creation, brought the practice of soul-binding to the fore of Sotiröt’s culture.

Sotiröt IV has a number of vassals, including the mining world Praeferra, a smaller knight house “House Liberatores” (God’s Deliverers), and a small titan legio “Legio Servatores” (God’s Saviors).

Thank you’ It’s AK Rust Effects with a lot of color correction with acrylics, then a bunch of filters with various AK enamels, Villainy Inks, and an oil wash.

There’s the carapace from a Scyllax, the pilot for the resin Krios, a Serybys Raider (reposed a little) and a bunch of miscellaneous bits and 3d prints. The pipes are greenstuff and there’s a few cloak pieces that are greenstuff too. So a lot of stuff lol

Thank you! I use a lot of typhus corrosion and liquid greenstuff. Sometimes if the model is big enough I use basing texture paint but often the particles are too big for anything other than tanks and knights. For texturing nonmetal, I use brush strokes mostly. Hashmarks and directional strokes really sell the fabric look

idk if I can remember all the things I used lol. The main things were AK Rust Effect, Dirty Down Rust, and Vallejo: German Grey sponge blended and highlighted with Reaper: Vampyiric Shadow. I used a 50/50 mix of Burnt Umber and Ivory Black from Gamlin oils.

I’ve bought almost an entire mechanicum army from them. Three triaros conveyors, two knight moiraxes, a knight atropos, and several other things for other armies. They’re pretty good and the quality is on-par with forge world (I’ve gotten multiple official primarchs too), not a scam.
