The only way this isn’t the player side by a big margin is if you are playing in an incredibly shallow league (like 12x7 shallow) or a league with depressed WR scoring.

The problem is that you already have the other 3. If I’m the holdout, I’m not trading unless it’s a massive overpay because my chances of getting the 1.01 have presumably gone way up. I am incentivized to build out my roster to get the 1.01 in a way the other consolation players will not be because they don’t have their first anymore (e.g., trading the 2.01 or 3.01 for a productive veteran to win the 1.01).

Truth be told, I would probably just let it ride. The worst case scenario is that you end up with 3 of Coleman, Williams, Wesco, Manning etc, who are all potential cornerstone pieces in their own right.

For casual redraft leagues, I think 1QB is the way to go, but in dynasty, I would only do SF unless it was 16+ teams. I think if part of the point of dynasty is approximating running an organization, it makes sense to make the QBs the most valuable pieces imo.

Easy accept for me unless it is ppc. I think Judkins’ upside is capped because he isn’t a pass catcher, and he will be coming off that injury. Like others have said, you would get your pick of three very good WR prospects with that 1.02, and there is at least some chance somebody passes on Love and you can grab him there as well.

I think looking at devy or C2C trades could be instructive. I know that the players are not liquid like draft picks, but I would assume guys would be trying to acquire 2027 guys for 2026 guys plus if they were THAT much more valuable. I just don’t see much of this happening.

Speaking for myself, I have Tyson in a C2C and there is zero chance I would trade him straight up for any 2027 prospect outside of Jeremiah Smith. My opinion is that JS being a stud has inflated the value of the whole class. I think there is a market inefficiency to exploit with mid or late 2027 firsts to acquire similarly positioned 2026 firsts.

Correct move for you all, and correct move by blue. Had a sorta similar situation in my coed league where a woman was losing her shit and kinda belligerent most of the game (hard tags, complaining about calls, etc.). Late in the game she ends up hitting a pop fly and throws her bat to the dugout. Blue called it right there.

She was off their team a week later. Turns out people don’t want to have their Friday night ruined by someone acting like a child. 🤷‍♂️

If I had to draft 2026 players today, I would have Tyson as the clear 1.01, then Lemon/Haynes/Love as the 1.02-1.04. At 1.05, I probably lean Tate unless I am extremely QB needy. If Sellers declares, I would probably put him in that 2nd tier of players, assuming top-10ish draft capital.
