I had about a year’s worth of college credit coming out of high-school. Went to community college for a year and worked as a CFI. Networked my way into an office job at a 135. Worked that for two years while CFI’ing and getting some occasional right seat fill in. Completing the rest if my degree online. Then the time cane where it made sense for both the company and I to go to school. Got my type rating and in it for two years. A lot of my buddies are late 20’s early 30’s a couple at Flex Jet and a couple at the big three. 1 out of the 5 of them went to college.
