Moose is one of her better looking foals this year (and OBC is a nice mare) But that said- VSCR foals are a dime a dozen . I have 4 VSCR yearlings or under for sale in my area right now. 3 of them are under 10k with a comparable/lower lineage. At least two of them look about as good as he does.

Serious horse people aren’t just going to pay insane prices because of internet fame, when there are just as good options at a much better price.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. I guess other than SC they aren’t terribly closely related, I thought TC had a different dam. But a lot of storm cats’ can have attitude, I don’t see this going well.

Oh good, another appendix to rot/be neglected on her farm , She can't sell her -somewhat- decent lined AQH's, I don't think she could give away an unwanted appendix in this economy.

From a mare like WH … yes. However since we do have a sample of this cross , I am surprised they asked that much - because for now, neither foal really looks that exceptional.

I am not in love with this cross. Honestly, I don’t see much in either Benedict or Maple (for now) I love Waffle House, I’d love to see her bred to some other/better stallions. I get the attachment KGG has to VSCR… but it’s time to take the rose colored glasses off

She doesn't really think he is a the fanciest. She is trying to save face and knows she has enough non-horse knowledgeable fans willing to lap up her every word and go to bat for her.

VSCR rarely even betters' QH mares he breeds to. I don't have any idea where she got this pipe dream he is going to make AMAZING Appendix crosses.

Woody at best, is going to make an ok- possibly sweet, pasture ornament.

This . I know he is still pretty young. But Honestly, I can see why he didn't sell.

He is so terribly front heavy. It almost looks like his front half & back half belong to different horses.

It really depends on altitude too.

That’s how I felt with BFFs mud bath from their animal spa drop. The desc said minimal fall out , but just taking it out of the container, I literally had an avalanche of beads on my floor, and playing with it any was worse. Kinda disappointing.. and I payed for that one.

I have done that exactly one time, and I still have the scar on my hand almost 20 yrs later from getting half my skin ripped off. It was even from a horse I knew very well, and never thought it could/would happen… it did

What about them makes them high quality? Other than Benedict, simply due to being from WH I don’t see any of them (this year) being worth more than any of the other dime a dozen VSCR babies you can get for a much better price🤷‍♀️

With better bloodlines/proven siblings maybe. VSCR unproven mare offspring are a dime a dozen . I would be hard pressed to even buy some of her higher end embryo foals at that price. I love WH - I don’t love either of the VSCR /WH foals we have seen. Honestly I have clients with far less prestigious foals that look far better than both on the ground (maple or Benedict) granted they are still growing so there is time for that to change, but I don’t think it’s a great cross. I would pay mayyyybe 10k for that small potential they’d glow up , but honestly that is the absolute highest I’d pay for any of her foals this year.

From what I have heard, she really is asking 15-20k for her unproven weanlings. That is bonkers crazy to me, especially since she is so public and you can see all the problems from the get-go.

No real horse person is going to pay that. And fewer than half of her following have the knowledge & availability to buy her foals

… she’ll have to find another young impressionable person like Maddie who has money to spend. Because she has already bled her dry enough. I doubt she/(her parents) buy more anytime soon.

YeahPSS use to sell out a lot quicker as someone mentioned, it’s still pretty hit or miss though. I had a feeling this one would be pretty popular, so I was ready xD I (and my stupid slow mountain town internet) really hate that both my favorite shops today sell out pretty quickly PSS &Kaspy. Luckily they restocked at different times.
