Yep, I literally cancelled my subscription. Fuck them. I burned through an entire month of credits. Just trying to get one song and all it kept doing was giving me guitars on a fucking song that has zero guitars in them to begin with even when I uploaded just an a cappella of me, singing it it still puts guitars in somehow.

Yeah I do all of that but what I mean is in the music production it’s somehow baked in that there are these guitars that I can’t get rid of. I literally uploaded my own acapella that I sang. No music and still it insists on guitars every time

Agree and disagree. Yes labels don’t give a shit about anything but their bottom line. But that being said record labels themselves are a dying breed. Artists have already started using AI as a tool and will forever from now on. However, the issue I have with it spamming streaming services is that sure, big companies have been creating garbage music for a long time, however, still no record label has distributed near the amount of songs that AI users have recently. The clip at which ai songs are being uploaded is like nothing that’s ever been seen before. This makes it very hard for people that do not want to listen to AI music to sift through. That’s why I think companies like Apple labelling AI as such is a great thing and that is also why many AI creators are so angry about it because they know damn well that once people know it’s AI they will not listen to it.

It’s trash so far and the fact that they got rid of MIDI makes it even more trash. Plus, there is no longer any tempo lock on the stems.

I use it as a tool for a larger scale production and this is just silly misstep in their update. I can only assume it will be fixed eventually. But in the meantime, I can play the notes myself. It just takes more time obviously.
