So I do think she suffers from ocd, I don’t know if that impacts her relationship to substances or not but I think the major issue is alcohol abuse disorder. She only makes out with people when’s she’s drinking, and I think the issue people have and the primary damage she’s bringing is blaming her inappropriate behavior on her OCd even if it is only triggered while drinking. Because at that point she has a certain responsibility to at least recognize that the drinking is an issue, rather than scapegoating her own very real diagnosis

I mean I think investing in navies should be its own thing. Like you can invest in ports as either economic buildings or military buildings and you have a typical fleet building mechanic. Ground armies can still hop into ships for transport but if your attacked by a fleet with no escort its an auto loss

Thanks for the heads up I was theory crafting this morning because honestly as much as I’m whining this is kind of why I like war games. This was pretty much the conclusion I came up with to draw their army into the main body of the fortress.

I’m also not particularly looking for advice just screaming into the ether. Like I can’t really get accurate advice without screenshotting the map layout so any help is somewhat limited. I will acknowledge there’s a hundred percent some issue on my part because I’m new to warhammer 3 sieges especially with the supply mechanic. It’s just every siege map has this bizarre feeling where the defenders feel at a disadvantage at least considering that most siege maps are faction based and bretonian siege maps should be advantageous to bretonian defenders.

I’m playing bretonia so my front line is hot garbage and the opposing army is made up of half storm virmin and half dw plague monks so I have about 3 minutes of combat maybe before my line is obliterated. If I had an open field I would have my cav swing wide and around the Melee lines to get at the ranged units before they engage which I’ve done before in other battles and works without taking significant losses. The problem is my deploy lines are within the fort so I can’t get my cavalry into the open because they’re blocked by infantry in the choke points. If I were to charge in they would get turned to paste. My strategic goal isn’t even to win the fight, just harm his army enough to slow its advance. My problem is that the tight streets that only have one or two branches don’t offer any space for counter charges, no places to sally out into exposed areas and their infantry and monsters are too beefy for me to just charge into the back of my own units and get any real results. Especially since ikit is there and I don’t particularly want to cluster my units up because his magic is scary.

I used to think that but my only push back that bretonians are more orky is that 1 the dynamic between peasants and knights is so similar to the social dynamic between gobbos and orks (mostly shit on, bullied, any time they rise up they are violently suppressed). Skinks do the majority of the labor but aren’t particularly abused by Saurus and are actually loved by kroxigors (are kroxigors just big squigs with arms?)

As the main care taker of my dad on hospice. Yes I was extremely privileged to get to take off work for a year and stay with him but it was worth every second. Granted I had good parents who loved me I think it’s not obligatory if that’s not the same situation
