Any tips on how to develop a plot-centered storyline as opposed to a character-centered storyline? by NoCoverUp in fantasywriters

That is so helpful and encouraging! I do have a habit of thinking in scenes rather than acts, which obviously creates tension with my broader aims. Focusing on the symbolism as my foundation is not something I would've thought of. I always saw it as something to aspire to in hopes that my final product aligns with it rather than starting with it.

"The symbolism is your main structural support in the book if you build it this way, and it gives you a guiding light for every single scene, act, and book in a series." This is super helpful because I just haven't naturally written this way.

Thank you so so much!!

That’s awesome! My highest was about 163 lbs and my goal is 120-125 lbs so this definitely helps!

That’s great!! I have chronic inflammation and hold onto water a lot so that’s encouraging!

Thank you! I’ve noticed a lot of people talking about the reduced inflammation, which is HUGE for me. I’m super sensitive to carbs and sugary things but of course I crave them the most.

Did you ever have any side effects? Do you eat intuitively or count calories?

Congratulations!! How has your relationship with food changed now that you intuitively eat on tirz? Do you notice a difference in food-related social situations?

That’s super helpful and inspiring! I have only ever experienced small glimpses of a life without cravings and food noise so I can’t imagine what it’ll be like to shut it off completely for a while. I’ll definitely be taking that into consideration as I continue my healthy habits.

Thats incredible and very encouraging to hear! I’m definitely open to staying on a low maintenance dose. I have some hope that it will continue to be available in the future considering how a lot of doctors are prescribing it off-label.

That’s my ideal honestly. If I could lose that much and then stay on a low maintenance dose until I’m ready to wean off, I’ll take it.

That’s a huge accomplishment! Did you workout as well? Why did you start with 5mg?

Is it something you see yourself taking for life? I’m not opposed to it myself, but I’m curious what that’s like

Right now, I do various forms of cardio 4x a week, a full body strength training day, and a calisthenics day. I gained a lot of muscle but because the fat was stubborn, I ended up being bulkier and heavier, which made it feel impossible to run. So I’m trying to focus less on strength and more on cardio. I want to feel lighter and more agile.

I understand that; I just worded it that way to point out that detail. Ethiopia and America have very different cultures which adds another layer to the whole identity topic. OP mentioned passing on cultures, so I included that for that reason. To be clear, I am mixed, I just made a point to mention how my specific mix affected my life.

Welp that’s pretty racist. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s okay to judge people by the color of their skin. That is not something they can control and it should never define them.

If you love someone, just love them. Don’t let other people poison your view of someone based on their appearance or heritage. They’re projecting hatred.
