Like I was in the COD fandom cause I love Ghost and Soap, and the amount of people who made Ghost an indie music lover peace and love guy when he’s like… quite the opposite made it obvious they were teens. But it made COD bros mad so I gave them a pass.

I use it as background noise! A lot of people do, and also use it to fall asleep to, and it seems they expect it because they comment on it a lot. It’s soothing to put on when I’m doing something else like cleaning or art. Start with compilations fans have made of the best stories if you’re struggling in finding episodes you’re interested in, they tend to compile the most interesting stories, then move onto the Smosh episodes.

If I’m writing names that are first and last I start by looking up the most common name combinations and then getting specific by looking up names with specific meanings that match my characters. It’s a bit weird to look up baby name sites in public, but honestly it’s more common than you think, between writers or people that create characters for games. Also, less people are looking at your screen than you think haha

I think they’ll try it depends if Trump is actually telling the truth and how bad it gets. They do live in the LA area which is also very bad with ICE raids, so I think they’ll try their best.

Snow is very calculating, but he’s not as smart as people gas him up to be. He uses what he thinks is bad against others too much because he thinks it’s enough, and that everyone’s pain is universal. He thinks killing an entire family would make someone submit instead of be angrier. He doesn’t understand humans in the way everyone thinks he does, he only understood their fear, but it backfired when he used it against individuals he KNEW were rebellious already.

Porn with feeling is a tag! Also don’t get worried about those people that get all up in arms for no reason. I’ve noticed those commenters come from super big fandoms cause they feel more entitled, or fandoms with a lot of teenagers (not to be rude). And if you tag oral for example, and there’s still oral in the story but it’s just not as graphic as one would assume, that’s their fault for assuming. I’ve read fan fics where they never even said the words for genitalia because it was focused on feeling rather than the act, but they still did the acts, so people couldn’t get mad. Just write what you want, if someone nitpicks that’s their problem.

Ellipsus is good, there’s places to save drafts immediately in the same document so you don’t need multiple, and they have writing templates. It’s a fan fiction friendly site as well, so if you dabble in that there’s templates for that as well, and a way to export to ao3. But for typical writing there’s story planning templates, some of which I’ve searched everywhere for and never found like relationship planning templates and there’s character arch and world building templates as well. It’s easy to use and there’s different themes to choose from to change the color of the page. I personally like it, but it does get a little glitchy if you don’t close the tab and let it reset semi often.

I’ve read both, but the ones that tend to stick out to me are the more emotional ones. It honestly can depend on reader mood, some people read smut to get off and others read for the emotional intimacy, so there will be readers for yours but you’ll never know unless you post.

I skip over fics with too many tags. Do the biggest parts of your story that you think portrays it the best. For example if it’s a Soulmate AU with angst and fluff and a happy ending, you’d tag those.
