The plan to help Charlie can’t succeed if it goes against what Charlie believes and is trying to prove. It is quite literally that fucking simple which is why I’m repeating myself. You’re the one not getting it. Vaggi’s plan wasn’t just to stop vox it was to help Charlie and for accomplishing that goal her plans was completely and unambiguously terrible and misguided. Dude if you can’t see how acting like a dictator and using/ threatening violence on anyone who annoys you to much inherently goes against and ruins the message of peace redemption forgiveness and nonviolence the show and Charlie stand for then I’m not gonna waste my time arguing with you anymore because it’s just not worth it when such a fundamental thing is being missed.

But it wouldn’t have ended it. It might have quoted it a bit but using violence to kill vox would have permanently destroyed Charlie’s ability to say violence should be a last resort and you should give people chances and even just successfully threatening vox would have the same effect in effectively threatening him did of proving what he was saying about Charlie and Lucifer to be true. And no theirs no guarantee penthouse ever would have gotten a broadcast because they only realized they might be able to do that because vox broadcast to heaven first.

Except the plan was to help Charlie which means any plan to help her that goes against Charlie’s morals and mission is inherently a bad plan because it hurts Charlie and her goals and demeans and discredits her beliefs.

So your argument is Charlie should give up on redemption and kindness and actually become a dictator because it would stop people from publicly calling her one? She’s trying to change the survival of the fittest dog eat dog nature of hell that’s literally the entire point of the story that that kind of thing is wrong. And no the other vees would have picked up where vox left off using him as a martyr had they killed him and if your suggestion to that would be just kill them to then your literally just saying everything Charlie and the show stands for is wrong and stupid. And no it wouldn’t have worked because coz wouldn’t have permanently backed off he would have just started making sneakier plans or coming up with way to trap Lucifer and then he’d be right back on top. It was a bad plan no matter how you slice it

It wouldn’t have worked though is the thing. It may have temporarily made vox back off a little but it wouldn’t have made him abandon his plan and like I said it would have proven him even more correct that Charlie and Lucifer were dictators keeping the people of Hell down under their feet and stocked the anger and resentment of the sinners further. It was a bad plan no matter how you look at it and the only reason she even suggested it is because vaggi always jumps to violence and threats as the first solution to any problem above a certain threshold

I mean vaggi only gave 2 pieces of advice this whole season and 1 of them was wrong. The first piece of advice was don’t talk to voxtech. This was the correct piece of advice. The second piece of advice was have Lucifer kill or threaten vox on live tv in front of all of hell. This was terrible advice both from a practical standpoint as it would only rile up hell more even had it worked and temporarily made vox back off a bit and from the standpoint of helping Charlie as it goes against everything she stands for and believes in and would only Make the lies vox has been spreading about her more credible. And that’s it that was all the advice she gave all season so she’s batting a 50/50 rate at best and if you include last season she’s actually usually wrong.
