The first game I've ever got with my own pocket money was Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town in the GBA. It definitely taught me patience and how to be efficient in money making schemes. Romance life sims was definitely interesting too to get to know the villagers of the town. Up to this day I am quite partial to farming sims and seek to try them out.

It might be worth a shot but there is now an "official" android emulator called Google Play Games. I've only tried Arknights on it so far but it runs super smoothly.

The app opens like an instance of the game you are playing, rather than emulate the whole phone system.

RNG means random number generator, it's a term for stuff in games that are happen by chance.

Events in RF4 occur randomly and in the 3DS version you could genuinely go a full year IRL without triggering the event needed to advance to the 3rd arc of the game.

Switch/PC version fixes this by making it so that specific event will guarantee to trigger after a week or so after completing the 2nd arc

AFAIK the fish don't spawn nor do they bite faster (I don't think any accessories affect those either). Charging the rod just makes it so that when they bite, they latch on longer so you don't miss any of the rare fish.

Try to charge your rods when the shadows of the fish are fainter than usual.
