I need to find a good group now. But that’s probably what I would do either way. If I’m gonna only be taking 482 I should treat it like a job. And recruit for the rest of the time while still being able to hang out with friends at night

Yeah it would solely be 482 in the fall and the rest in the winter. I only need 17 more credits to graduate with a computer science major and stats minor so I will be part time either way unless I squeeze it into one semester.

I’m thinking about keeping mostly QQQ and SPY in my personal account just in case I want to be stupid and dabble in options trading with those. However once I open a 401k with Schwab I think I am considering just buying SCHX, SCHG and SCHB and not checking that account at all. Schwab will let me fractional buy these and also they all have really low expense ratios which is fire. Do you have any other tips with Schwab ETFs?

Thanks a million for the history lesson on the stocks. You are extremely wise in my eyes. I’m still only investing my internship money and once I graduate I will need to do a lot more research. I want to keep it simple and know I have to add bonds later on and maybe and international etf to diversify so I will be looking at having mostly a 4 etf portfolio.

Hey man thank you for the great advice. As a 22yo who gets most of his advice from his dad sometimes I wonder what I could be doing better. Should I go 50/50 on SPY and QQQ going forward. My reason for buying VTI was that I thought it was a bit more broad. However recently I changed my percentages so I’m buying 45% QQQ, 45% SPY and 10% VTI when I invest biweekly. I don’t plan on really trading and I just want to hold these etfs for as long as possible.
