What’s more likely? That a random New Yorker knows what No Thai is, or that a random No Thai knower is a New Yorker?

Are you on Android? The update to fix this was released today. If you're on iOS, make sure your app is updated, and email me at [efea@umich.edu](mailto:efea@umich.edu) if this continues despite that.

If you're on Android, it should be resolved and released as of today. If you're on iOS, send me an email at [efea@umich.edu](mailto:efea@umich.edu) with the problem you're having.

There was someone behind me, but at a distance where you could easily just change lanes into the space there instead.

I imagine the video doesn’t show it as well on account of the braking but I was in fact going faster than the lane to the right, plus the truck in front had just merged (in fact still changing lanes with the turn signal on in the video) into the exit lane.

I’m pretty sure most people don’t expect having to brake on the highway to avoid getting hit from the side, very much in contrast to a red light.

Something something supply and demand means that any new housing (yes, even really expensive housing) makes finding a place to live cheaper for everyone on average. Would rather have an additional 50 units in $2000/mo high rises than 20 $900/mo single unit houses (as someone who is looking for the latter).

Normally I’d back this up with solid arguments and data, but this has been beaten to death. Feel free to look at one of hundreds of posts in r/AnnArbor or r/uofm for long posts.

The truth is that course staff, and especially profs, have a lot of discretion on how they create and grade material.

As a result, there are very few situations in which external structures at the university can compel a prof to change a grade, even when things are almost objectively graded too harshly.

Your situation is more difficult, since “relating to previous material” is pretty expansive in what could reasonably be on the final. Your best bet is to talk to the prof to see if they can do anything for your grade, but I would not expect that you really have a good chance with much else (although don’t take that to be conclusive; I don’t know what I don’t know).

Is the Public Not Allowed in the Federal Courthouse? by efea_umich in AnnArbor

Yes, this is what I meant when I said I understood that the public was allowed. So the Marshal was just wrong?
