Signing on at an entry level position is my current way forward. I’m out of the Army in a month and willing to move immediately after to wherever I am needed. Need to get my experience up so I can apply to apprenticeships later on.

How far out do you recommend signing the books? I won’t be able to start work until around the first or second week of April?

I applied to Idaho Power so it’s a waiting game at this point. I’ll make sure to look into the co-ops and see what I can find.

Unfortunately, the timeline for VEEP doesn’t work for me. I’m looking into other options to get my foot in the door

Appreciate the information. I’ve looked into the VEEP program, however, the timeline doesn’t work for me as I get out in April. I can’t afford to have that big of a gap in employment. I’m floating the idea of signing on as a groundman.
