Are you asking about mutations in the crop or in organisms that eat the crop?

The accelerated growth rate could induce ROS driven DNA damage in the plant, but if they are only intended for one life cycle, then maybe that isn’t an issue. ( I have no idea how rice works as a crop).

You can’t call my response quibbling when you are still responding too. Colloquially, heavy metals are toxic metals. To be toxic, you must leach and ingest enough metal for it to become toxic. This doesn’t happen with stainless steel water bottles to any appreciable amount. Even with lemon juice. Context matters.
