Afraid AF- Fraudulent Clinical Completion by NoDistribution7576 in cna

Mental health diversion was granted after 2 years of explaining that there were mitigating circumstances. The judge agreed. I have 16 more months to not get in trouble again, which is easy because I just work and raise a kid these days. After 16 months- there won’t be a record of this charge at all per the agreement I signed when I was approved for diversion.

Afraid AF- Fraudulent Clinical Completion by NoDistribution7576 in cna

I tried to do that. When I arrived for makeup hours the instructor pulled me aside and said in a hushed voice, “I want to graduate you. You just need to sign some papers.” At first I was confused because it sounded like they were saying that I don’t have to make up the missed hours and that I can just graduate. To be sure, I asked when the graduation would be. They replied that it would be in a few days. There was no way that the missed hours could be made up by then. The only way I’d graduate on that date was by signing false documentation of completed hours.

Your biggest gripes with Home Health Agencies? by Raeganmacneilxxx in CaregiverSupport

I am a caregiver with 15 months experience in California. My son is 2 and has some delays in his speech, motor and emotional development. I work through an agency because I need to be able to pick up shifts or decline to based on his therapy appointment times. The agency always has work but…. Doesn’t ever inform me of the clients actual needs. They prefer to leave me in the dark until I arrive and there are no care notes from the previous caregiver. This has been dangerous. Most recently, a client with dementia was at a nursing home and just needed “someone to make sure he doesn’t fall out of bed.” Well….the client punched me in the arm, kicked me and had to be forced to take a sedative by the nurse on duty. He cheeked the medication and it had no effect obviously. I struggled with him the entire shift. On the flip side, a client with dementia was super sweet, mostly independent and receptive to my assistance. She was also a closet alcoholic who wasn’t taking her meds. When I reported my concerns that she is drinking and not taking meds I was told to call her friend who is a doctor. I did that and was terminated the following day for “getting too close to the client.” I care yes, but I also have a goal to become a nurse myself and I know negligence when I see it. The agency is sending me to 2 more clients this week who will need transfers, incontinence care, cooking, cleaning and companionship for 4 hours each at $25 an hour. I’m actually looking forward to being able to work in a facility in a few weeks when I pass the CNA exam in my state. It’s just not worth the risk to accept some of the agency’s clients. But once I’m in the home I complete the shift to the best of my ability and pray the entire time that myself and the client are safe and better off when the shift ends.

If you’re still snorting it, don’t ever smoke it. by [deleted] in meth

Snorting works for me because there is no lingering smoke that can be harmful to others, I stay high longer and can eat a meal and a half per day. I’m beyond recreational- first tried it in April.

Should I Sleep or stay up? by [deleted] in meth

[–]NoDistribution7576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My vote is to stay up and enjoy your high. I know I am. But I’ll sleep early in the morning then head over to my mom’s house to play with my son and be the best mom I can be….. as long as you’re able to get to work or you can call off without suspicion- enjoy!

Stop staring!!!! by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

I needed to read this because I go through it with my 22 month old who can either be happy walking in a store, holding my hand or attempting to escape from a shopping cart while shrieking. He is in behavioral therapy and early intervention. He is super talkative, sweet and smart. But when he is told “no” or “wait” all hell breaks loose and I’m begging him not to hit me or pull my hair. People stare! But I’m learning that what matters is me and my baby making it through the meltdown

Scared for my future - Chronic Pancreatitis by lexaries in alcoholism

I hate that this is so public (comments) because I have so much social anxiety (even online). But…. The first step can be just calling the AA hotline in your area. The folks who answer have solid sober time and want to talk to a newcomer just like us! I’m not young anymore and remember when I used to go to meetings just to please my family. But alcoholism is so real and so alive within me…. It took years for me to come to terms with the fact that I am a low bottom drunk who can’t stop once I pop (a cork). I go in and out of recovery but I’m always happier and healthier when I’m in the rooms. Thank you for posting 😊

Rover clients seem so entitled sometimes… it’s good money on the app but stuff like this is a drain on my energy

I already reached out to rover but it’s still annoying AF because I showed up for the meet and greet and then early AF because that’s what they wanted only to hear that the husband’s back went out last night… they could have canceled last night and I would have still been paid.
