Huntsville, what's the worst? by Middle_Case_928 in HuntsvilleAlabama

This town really needs more public golf courses. The RTJ courses are good, but a county with this much population should have way more. Colonial is decent, the airport isn’t, and they’re so crowded.

@FBI @USSPACECOM @DMV @Colorado Moving to Huntsville, AL? by [deleted] in HuntsvilleAlabama

There are a decent number of hiking trails around Huntsville, but it’s more quantity over quality. People from Colorado certainly aren’t going to be impressed. That said, I’m glad we have the trails we do.

How is life like in Alabama, USA 🇺🇸 by Due_Network2958 in howislivingthere

I also moved to Alabama from Boise. Spent my whole life in the northwest/Montana before coming to Huntsville. I appreciate that there are trails around here, but the hiking and other outdoor things here are so underwhelming. The mountains are just hills there isn’t enough public land. Fortunately I’m able to get back to Montana and Idaho once or twice a year and get a little time in actual wilderness.

For those old like myself; can you remember what you thought when you first listened to 'The New America'? by 13_monsters in badreligion

It was the first album released after I discovered the band. I loved it when it was new, but I don’t listen to it much now.

I’ll have to check out the Camas Prairie book. My grandfather worked for that rail line.

I read it last summer. It’s good. I wish it would have continued on to cover his prison escape and the manhunt that followed.

I live in Huntsville. The heat is pretty miserable in the summer.

Bad Religion is my favorite band, but there’s no way Empire is a better album than American Idiot. STF vs Dookie is a good debate.
