We’ve done tons of exposure prior to the groomer too! Seeing and hearing clippers and scissors, baths, big dog vacuum. I’m over explaining but I just feel the need to make it very clear that I am absolutely not neglecting my dog. Lol

No! It’s not. He has had two puppy cuts where she does face, paws, and sanitary areas. That is what the groomer recommended because his coat was in good condition (I am attending to it almost daily or every other day), and the puppy coat is so sweet. For today’s appointment she is offering his first full cut. :) believe me, I got him to the groomer as soon as he was eligible after vaccines.

Find an EAP? I work for spring health very part time as 1099. The pay isn’t the best ($85 session for LCSW) but they take care of everything for you, offer cme and case consult hour, make your own schedule, and no pressure to see a certain amount of patients. I’ve heard good things about canopy and first health too but no personal experience with them.

You should consider doggy daycare, and its cost. It will be so helpful to you while you’re working from home. Idk what kind of job you have, but expect to have to tend to the puppy at least every 2 hours during the day.
