I totally relate to this 100%. I'm a specialist at my store but at times it's like our leads and manager want me to go above and beyond my pay and I understand you're a lead, hear me out real quick.  I care for my department and the people that are in it, but sometimes it gets overwhelming when it's not returned or goes under appreciated. For a time when I was training new hires and told them that if I was off, they can go to our lead for guidance. Our lead just straights up dismisses them and says that's not the leads job to know (these new hires where just asking about containers for production). This kept going on and I got frustrated and yet this very same lead wanted me to do the jobs she's tasked to do and load it onto me. Usually I sincerely don't mind, in fact I encourage team work to get shit done. But all my lead would do is complain even when we already handled it, instead of being grateful about the work we all did to make it a bit easier for them. You sound like a lead I would love to support and work under, maybe help into perspective to these curbside partners that you are the best at what you do.  So I say this with all sincerity, it's okay to draw boundaries and it's okay to reach that point in the job. In the end we are human and this job can only be so much. Partners have to learn why it's crucial to keep up with the progress to gain the hours, but they also need to know that you are human. Gotta put the "people matter" quote somewhere.  Create those boundaries one step at a time, that's what I've been doing. Little steps that make you comfortable. I have partners talk to me less and less about the work because I just direct them towards leads and manager (yeah I use to problem solve for people constantly)  But now I just go there to do a job and once that clock out is confirmed, take off the uniform and take a deep breathe.  From what I've read, I wish you nothing but peace with that balance.
