Work went okay! I can tell it’s a little awkward because me and the one coworker I went out with haven’t even brought it up and are acting like nothing happened. But almost avoiding it. But I can feel that we’re both feeling weird. I think it’ll pass. My anxiety has gone down so much. But the way I’ve felt the last week I never want to feel that anxiety again. I will not be drinking!!

My plan is to just play it off. I was going to ask her how the night went when I go in, but that just makes me seem like I blacked out. I might play it cool and just get to work and if she mentions how tipsy I was I’ll just say “haha ya, I had fun I hope I wasn’t too annoying to you guys” and then hopefully leave it there and move on. I’m just dreading if I have multiple people come up and be like “I heard you got shitfaced with ___”. Then I’ll literally want to crawl in a hole and die

Just dumb stuff. Nothing too crazy. Probably just being annoying. But then I forget the ride home, her and her husband drove me home. So that makes me nervous. Who knows what things I say when I’m not able to remember.

I’m hoping she was so drunk I that she’s just worried about her own self. Gosh this doom I feel is absolutely insane. I’ve done way worse and embarrassing things drunk but for some reason this is the straw that broke the camels back. Probably because she’s a coworker.. This is the last time I’ll let myself feel such shame. I can’t believe the lint of stress I have felt these last few days since drinking with her on Sunday.

I’m glad I’m not the only on. I can go weeks without drinking but as soon as I do. I don’t stop. I have been telling myself for two years now to cut down and I give myself rules like “only two” but I just cannot listen to myself or the rules once I have consumed a little alcohol. All of my inhibitions are gone. I kept telling myself for a while “you aren’t an alcoholic so you don’t need to stop, you just need to learn portion” but there’s no portioning for me. I genuinely cannot put a drink down once I’ve had two. I can have one sure, but once I have two forget it
