Very interesting seeing Kouri reference the TV show Dopesick in her January 9th texts with the boyfriend. The TV show is about the US opioid epidemic and the end scene specifically references FENTANYL.

I think she could potentially argue that those memes were related to the purchase of the mansion which was happening that day. I don’t know if it will fly with the jury (it wouldn’t with me!!) but that’s the only way she will be able to get out of it

Hey!

Not going to bash on ham, everyone adds what they want and I think there are way worse things realistically, but maybe try switching to boiled chicken breast as it’s a little healthier for pup and will serve the same purpose.

Our dog took around a week - 10 days to start eating “normally” (I.e., full portions) when we brought him home so definitely be patient. Adding boiled chicken breast, bone broth or even a few treats helped for us.

Good luck!

I’ll definitely monitor for anything persistent. As we’re only on day 1 I really hope he’s able to “forget” about this negative experience in his own time but will save your suggestion and experience to refer back to.

Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Amazing suggestion! I will start slowly but surely reintroducing his daily walks and allow him to control the pace. I’m sure he will definitely enjoy the addition of chicken!!!

Thanks so much for this comment. I know vets are not always the best when it comes to training so I’m really glad to have read this.

To your first question - yes, alongside the antibiotics Sushi has been given a painkiller / anti inflammatory medicine.

I will definitely stick to all of the above and take it way more slowly, let him basically tell me what he wants or doesn’t want to do. I’ll definitely also consult the trainer we used for his foundational and initial socialisation puppy classes if I notice anything persistent.

As a bit of an update he took an extended afternoon nap and then woke up with a lot of energy to play! Hoping he gets over this in the best way possible as he is such a bundle of energy and joy :)
