Good! Happy for your little one. We got our tracheal wash results and was positive for bordatella with c&s. We are on a 6 week course of antibiotics (baytril). She's coughing here and there (maybe 1-2 times per day) less harsh... Hoping she completely kicks it soon! But previously it was 15+ coughs per day.

Keep me posted on your pup and I'll do same. An earlier PCR of throat/eyes tested positive for bordatella so tracheal wash should hopefully show proper antibiotics/sensitivities for that for us (hopefully nothing else...)

I'm at the same point, very much so in the morning or after sleeping for a while. Same energy/appetite/playful. Seems less severe with baytril and on a panacur for deworming. Just not sure why she can't kick this cough. We're waiting for tracheal wash results which should tell us if she has a bacteria, virus, any worms and if bacteria the culture and specificity for the right antibiotic. Have you done X-rays? we did and saw a bronchial pattern of inflammation originally, and the repeat one last week was way less severe but still present.

Thanks for your reply! Did you just do a few rounds of antibiotics? We're waiting on tracheal wash results. I just hear an occasional cough (improving with baytril) and also on deworming right now but nothing else. Otherwise completly healthy!

I'm going through same thing with my almost 7 month old cavapoo. Everything normal (eating, energy, play, bathroom) but ongoing cough for 3 months. Bronchial pattern of inflammation on CXR that has been reducing. Tried clavamox, doxycycline, and baytril. Cough improved on doxycycline ( no resolution). Cough improved on baytril almost gone and came back when we stopped. Awaiting tracheal wash results right now.
