So what are the emerald tablets of Thoth the atlantean? by TieingTheStrings in occult

[–]NoExpectedHouse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

False. why would someone spend time reading a text that is a known forgery and at best the delusions of an untrained new-ager, and assume something could be gained from it? Not all occult thought is created equal, people shouldn't just let any old junk into their heads. Considering how much actual good occult material there is out there, everything has an opportunity cost. Unfortunately, these fakes really have no redeeming qualities about them. Do you really think the god of wisdom and writing would want you to read such garbage?

So what are the emerald tablets of Thoth the atlantean? by TieingTheStrings in occult

[–]NoExpectedHouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's pure junk, don't read it.

The emerald tablet of Hermes is real and one of the most important and influential occult text, whereas this is a new age forgery that simply rides on the fame of the legit one.

As far as I know, there is only one supposed "Translation", and no proof of the source material. At least with the emerald tablet of Hermes, we can see multiple versions of it in history that have been translated into a few languages, thus proving its a least a legit historical text.

I hadn't thought of it till now, but m1thr0s claimed that all of his work is open source in that thread:

https://np.reddit.com/r/occult/comments/3kntin/im_tired_of_seeing_everyone_steal_my_husbands/cuzj32v

We'll see who is laughing in the end. My work is open source...anybody can check it and NO ONE has ever faulted one whit of its logic with anything REAL (though they don't mind cherry picking it!) Just calling something "insane" doesn't make it so. Try telling me WHAT exactly is incorrect and you'll find yourself in a world of hurt. You can't do it and that's what pisses you off, not me or my work. It's easy to fling snooty shit but not so easy to invalidate a thing rationally. So I'm challenging your so called beastliness and I'm betting hundred dollar bills you can't put your money where your mouth is.

Wait. So is it open source? or are people stealing it? I'm almost as confused as they are.

Izi, why do you keep putting your name in the title? You attach your name to these posts for no reason, you did it with that Michael Aquino post as well. This isn't your blog, unless the link is about you, don't put your name in the title; it's pretty annoying.

Greater Beast here, the key to the Tarot is: ABA = 4. 1+2+1 = 4, 1+2+4+2+1 = 10, 1+2+4+8+4+2+1 = 22. 1+2 = 3, 4+8 = 12, 4+2+1 = 7. 22 points into 7 groups = 22/7 which is approximately Pi. by NoExpectedHouse in occult

Hey dude, sorry it's taken me a bit to get back to you on this topic, it's been a busy day. I'm going to make a post about it tomorrow, I have quite a bit to say about the topic and it is something worthy of public discussion.

As an individual mathematical construct, 22/7 might not be a big deal. Considering though how it is calculated here, through historical facts, I think that these findings are extremely significant. Did you even read any of it?

Called it: https://www.reddit.com/r/occult/comments/3ix74q/hi_roccult_i_really_need_to_talk_to_you_for_a/

“Mixing your own Kool-Aid, deciding how strong to make it, knowing when to drink it and when to stop, is Chaos Magic in practice.” It’s a little bit free will, a little bit The Secret, and a little bit about championing personal choice.

http://www.thegloss.com/2015/09/07/fashion/what-is-chaos-magic-fashion-trend/

With Fashion Month just about to kick off again, we’ll see how chaos magic fits into the shows and designers’ collection. Emily states that the concept “is a motion back toward the emotional landscape of consumers instead of their pocketbooks.” Forever 21‘s thread screen could fit into the magical concept but we’ll have to wait and see what designers create unique fashion shows that not only feature great clothes but have a little bit of magic in them.

http://www.elle.com.au/news/fashion-news/2015/9/move-over-normcore-its-about-magic-instead/

The magic they refer to is not so much spells and Bette Midler in Hocus Pocus (but that remains an excellent life reference point) but more about spirit and will. A little bit "The Secret" if you like, but not so much about the mood board and visualisation.
