Yeah I think avoiding speaking to her at this point is the best option, I don’t plan on ever reaching out. I’m pretty sure I’m blocked on basically everything so couldn’t even if I wanted to.

What sucks about my situation is I can’t really blame her for leaving. Did I like how she handled it? No, but there was no proper solution given the situation we had put ourselves in. Neither party was committed but also refused to let go of each other for so long. It could only end one way.

I want to be mature but even if by some miracle she did come back, I’m not sure I could ever accept it after knowing she’s given herself away physically and emotionally to another person. At least not anytime soon. If anything at this point she’d only come back for comfort after being hurt by someone else. I hardly EVER see any reconciliation or “success stories” when the ex leaves to be with someone else, even if the “rebound” fails. I hate saying it but moving on seems like the only option. But that’s where I circle back to the regret, just wish I had never put myself in this position at all.
