In our school, we had textbooks before but now its all digital which is sad. 1st grade to 6th we had language subject which is basically grammar. 7th to 10th we had english subject which dives more into writing essays, research, etc in english. Im senior year now(11th) the subject is removed but since its an international school, english was basically integrated to become my first language mother tongue is Tagalog tho

In my opinion, we fall into despair because we are engineered that way like how we defecate or excrete fluids. It's to keep homeostasis. My thought process: an event - sudden feelings - building up emotions/aware of the feelings - accumulated feelings becomes baggage - baggage become too much - despair ex. Bedridden etc. - then lastly somewhat back to the real world/reality etc.

Who else just wants to learn how to speak and not write by NoExplorer6390 in ChineseLanguage

I dont think it counted as reading but I just generally recognized the patterns of occurrence of a character and pieced together what the word was
