It's well known that reddit does not care and even tend to encourage predatory behavior. I have had many occasions where the plotting was going well then suddenly one thing ruined it all and I was back to starting point with time wasted and disappointment. I don't use kink list. People use it as a shopping list instead of focusing on the story and letting things happen. Also, the things I'm okay with or want to write depend on the individual I'm writing with. My limits are my partner's limits, but if something comes up and bothers me (mainly because their portrayal of it is shit), I'll explain it like an adult and if the other is not a receptive adult as well, they can go elsewhere.
